November 21, Novaya Gazeta came out with an investigation on a summer residence of the Metropolitan of St. Petersburg and Ladoga, Varsonofiy (Sudakov). The land plot worth 30 million rubles, the Orthodox Church received for free. It is located in the village of Komarovo, one of the most prestigious suburban sites of St. Petersburg.
Authorities of the city, who provided the church with the land plot, do not consider it a summer residence. According to them, this is an object of religious value, in which pilgrims has been living. At the same time, in 2005, the Metropolitan of St. Petersburg and Ladoga, Vladimir, told about the "diocesan summer residence in the village of Komarovo", where "a two-storey house with a total area of 212 sq.m. was constructed, as well as a house for attendants with a total area of 144 sq.m. was built"
On November 22, Novaya Gazeta published a text about the former head of the North-Caucasian Federal Security Service, Gennady Lopyrev. Investigators has studied Lopyrev ‘s career path in the period from 2001 (when he leaved the St. Petersburg’s FSB department and started to get in touch with influential people) till the last week (when Lopyrev was sentenced to ten years in prison for bribery).

Things went wrong for the General, when his old rival, Dmitry Kochnev, became head of the Federal Security Service. He was detained shortly after Lopyrev had refused to resign voluntarily.
On the same day, the Russian dept of Transparency International told about possible conflict of interest in the construction of the VEB Arena stadium in Moscow. According to the investigation, construction of the facility has become a link between president of CSKA FC Evgeny Giner and Vice-Mayor Marat Khusnullin. The possible income of the official's family is estimated at 300 million rubles. Giner's company could receive up to 1 billion rubles.
On November 24, BBC Russian service published interrogation protocols of Igor Sechin in the case of former Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukaev. The head of Rosneft tells that no one except him had heard of Ulyukaev allegedly demanding a bribe (this was confirmed by other people who were nearby), as well as the fact that the minister called him and asked for a meeting (this was refuted by deciphering their conversation and a testimony of Ulyukaev’s assistant).
