Roskomnadzor press secretary Vadim Ampelonsky, the head of its legal department Boris Yedinin and the head of Roskomnadzor Central Office Alexander Veselchakov are suspected of paying illegal bonuses, Business FM was told by a source close to the investigation.

According to the source, the fraudulent scheme was created in 2012. The supplements were paid from the funds owned by the General Radio Frequency Center FSUE. The money receivers have not been named. BFM’s source added that the five-year damage has amounted to 20.1 million rubles ($348.400).

Ampelonsky, Yedinin and Veselchakov are under house arrest suspected of swindling (part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code). The accusatory theory is unknown yet. Ampelonsky denies the charges.
