KrasAvia CEO detained on suspicion of taking $67.000 bribe
KrasAvia CEO has been detained on suspicion of bribe-taking on an especially large scale (part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code), reported the West Siberian Office of the Investigative Committee on Transport.
According to investigators, he took 3.95 million rubles ($67.000) from the director of a company supplying special equipment to KrasAvia. In return, he promised to lobby the interests of the bribe-giver in future contracts.
The name of the detainee has been withheld. The airline's website says that this post is held by a certain Valery Mordan.
He is going to be convicted soon. The investigation is underway.
